New Leaders Institute Workshop for Middle School

In March, New Leaders completed a very
successful one day workshop in partnership with
The Mentoring Alliance
in Sonoma, California. The leaders had 22 adults and kids who practiced
communication, listening and appreciation skills. Mentors support their Mentees
in various ways throughout the school year and in the relationship with the
child. Thus, we guided them in ways to show their gratitude and appreciation of
one another. This was a pilot workshop and will be followed up by one in the
fall.
