SOKA UNIVERSITY Aliso
Viejo, CA - January 14-16, 2009
In January 2009, New Leaders
took a three-day intensive class to international students at Soka
University in Aliso Viejo, California. This was a unique opportunity to present
leadership training to students from around the world.
In partnership with the
University, students learned about Emotional Intelligence, in addition to
building on personal strengths. Participants engaged in team building
exercises and interactive discussions about what leadership means to them. They
were challenged to create their own personal style of leadership and take it
into the world, by designing a group project that is challenging and in
alignment with their values and personal style of leadership.
